What are rastafari beliefs?

Some of Rastafarians beliefs are that Haile Selassie I is the Living God, Christ was black, or Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia is the black messiah and rebirth of Christ. They also believe that Ethiopia is the holy land a Heaven on Earth where true Rastas live eternally as bodily and spiritual immortals, Negating the need for an afterlife. Rastafarians also believe the Ark of the Covenant is currently hidden in Ethiopia.
